How does EBSCO ensure its content is free of malware or viruses?

Full-text documents are received directly from EBSCO's publishing partners and stored on EBSCO servers. EBSCO employs multiple layers of defense to secure information under our control, including protecting the network perimeter from external attacks – allowing only authorized services and protocols to access EBSCO’s systems and services.

EBSCO also uses multiple tools to address malware and phishing risks (e.g., firewalls, anti-virus, backups, automated and manual scanning, end-user awareness) and scans for security threats using commercial, automated and manual methods.
