How is relevance ranking determined in Publication Finder?

Relevance ranking in Publication Finder utilizes metadata field weighting, with a strong emphasis placed on keyword matches against the publication title field. Publications containing the search words in exact order, adjacent to one another, receive a scoring adjustment in their favor. Publications identified as “peer reviewed” receive a relevance boost.  Custom Resources (titles added by the customer) also receive a relevance boost.
