Traditionally, link resolvers, and the knowledge bases that power them, include a library’s full-text holdings only. The value is to allow users to find resources that the library holds in full-text in other locations and does not typically include information from Abstract & Index only databases.
However, if a library wants to include this content, and their link resolver and underlying knowledge base allows for its inclusion, EBSCO makes this information is available for EBSCOhost databases. Each month EBSCO makes available database-specific files with title level detail for all applicable sources, including full text, as well as A & I only. This information is made readily available, via an FTP site, to all vendors who wish to access it to inform their knowledge bases.
