Are EBSCOhost URLs bookmarkable?

EBSCOhost URLs that display in the browser address bar are bookmarkable. The URLs for search results, article detail, and publication pages can be bookmarked in Internet Explorer, Firefox, via del.icio.us, Yahoo! Bookmarks, Furl, Google Notebook, or any number of other bookmarking services.

Users can bookmark an EBSCOhost URL by using their browser's bookmark tool or by using the Bookmark feature within the EBSCOhost interface.

To bookmark a URL from within EBSCOhost using your browser's bookmark tool:
  • In Internet Explorer you should click the Favorites icon and then select Add button in the Favorites menu to bookmark the URL.

  • In Firefox you can select the "star" icon in the address bar to bookmark the URL.

To bookmark a URL from within EBSCOhost:
  1. Click the Share link at the top of your Result List.

  2. Click the icon of the service in which you'd like to store or share the link.

  3. A popup window displays allowing you to sign in to that service and store or share your link.

  4. If you do not have an account with a service, you may be required create one. 

Other services that are compatible with the EBSCOhost bookmark feature include: Digg, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, and Twitter.

Note: You must have an account with these services to use the Bookmark feature with them.
