How do I schedule reports in EBSCOadmin?

When you schedule a report in EBSCOadmin, an e-mail with a persistent link to the report is automatically sent to you. You can click on the link from the e-mail, or copy the link and paste it into your web browser’s address field, and view the report right in your browser window. You can also save the persistent link and view it at your convenience.  

To run reports in EBSCOadmin

  1. Log in to EBSCOadmin at

  2. Click Reports & Statistics in the tool bar at the top of the screen.

  3. Click Standard Reports under EBSCOhost/EDS, then select the Report Type that you want to run. Select one of the following: 

    • Usage Reports
    • Link Activity Reports
    • COUNTER Reports
    • Personalization Activity Reports
  4. Make your selections on the Report Screen to meet your needs. 

  5. Click the Schedule Report button. 

  6. In the Report Frequency field, be sure to set a recurring date. (For example, Every 6 months starting from April 2007.)

  7. Enter your e-mail address and click Submit.

  8. When you receive the report e-mail, simply click on the persistent link included with the e-mail (or copy and paste into your browser address field). If you have saved as HTML, the report displays in your browser window. (Or, if you have saved as a .txt or .csv file, a Save prompt box will display.) 


  • Links to reports are saved indefinitely. However, if you edit the report, a new link will be sent that replaces the one you created previously. And if you delete the report, the link will also be deleted.
  • If you click a report link before the reporting period, the data will be for the prior complete period.
