How can I find useful information on creating science projects using Science Reference Center?

The Science Reference Center database contains many records that describe and offer suggestions for science projects and science experiments. There are multiple ways to search for this content.

To find records related to science projects using the Science Reference Center interface:

  1. Log into the Science Reference Center database using the SciRC interface.
  2. Click on Science Experiments in the Reference Shelf on the right-hand side of the screen.

A result list is returned with several records related to science projects. You can further refine your search results by using the Subject terms or Publications facets found in the left column of the result list. You may also sort the result list by relevance (default), date, source, or author by clicking on Relevance Sort at the top of the result list.

You can also search the EBSCOhost interface for science project related content in the Science Reference Center database.

To find records related to science projects using the EBSCOhost interface:

  1. Log into the Science Reference Center database using EBSCOhost.
  2. Click on the Advanced Search link to bring up the advanced search options.
  3. Select Science Experiments from the Document Type limiter.
  4. Click Search.

A result list is returned with several records related to science projects. You can further refine your search results by using the Subject terms facet found in the left column of the result list, or by clicking Show More under Refine your results and applying additional limiters. You may also sort the result list by relevance (default), date, source, or author by clicking on Relevance Sort at the top of the result list.
