How is your linked data working for you?

You will need to request a password and login information to access to your statistics. To request this information, from your linked data page select the Services drop-down and select Stats. When you click Cancel in the pop-up window, you will be prompted with information on signing up for an account and requesting this login information.

The Statistics and Log Console shows the impact of sharing your Linked Data. Once you have the login information, you can access your statistics by clicking the Services drop-down menu from your Linked Data homepage and selecting Stats.

Note: It is normal to see fluctuations in your library’s statistics from month to month.

Navigating Your Linked Data Statistics

Use the menu on the left to view statistics on specific actions. Under each set of statistics, you can view a Monthly Summary and Detail Logs.

Share Statistics

Share Statistics track any social media sharing of your Linked Data. If a user shares a record or page on a social media channel via the library.link network, it will be counted under the Share Statistics.

The Monthly Summary shows the total number of times your Linked Data pages were shared, across all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), for each month.

You can sort the data by clicking on a column header. Click a column once to sort in ascending order, or click twice to sort in descending order.

Use the buttons above the chart to copy, save (in Excel or CSV format), or print the chart.

Detail Log

The Detail Log shows more detail about what was shared. You can download a report for each month by clicking the button for that month. The report will show you the resource that was shared, when it was shared, and what channel it was shared on.
