Full Text Finder Usage Report

The Full Text Finder Usage Report allows you to analyze specific usage statistics that highlight how end users are using the Full Text Finder link resolver and your resources.

To run a Full Text Finder Usage Report:

  1. Click the Holdings Management tab in the EBSCOadmin top menu.

  2. Click the Overview sub-tab.

  3. Click the Full Text Finder Reports link in the Quick Actions menu.

  4. Once on the Reports & Statistics tab, select Full Text Finder Reports.

  5. Click the Full Text Finder Reports tab.

  6. Select a report in the Report Type section

    • Link In By Resource - Count of the number of requests to specific resources (book or journal titles)
    • Link In By Genre - Count of the number of requests for each genre (such as article, book, etc.)
    • Link In By Source - Count of the number of requests by source (such as EBSCOhost, ABC-CLIO, etc.)
    • Link Out By Resource - Count of the number of link outs to specific resources (book or journal titles)
    • Link Out By Target - Count of the number of link outs to specific targets (such as EJS, Ovid, etc.)
    • Link Out By Category - Count of the number of requests for each customlink category (i.e. full text, ILL, smartlink, etc)
  7. Select a Date Range for your report from the drop-down menus.

  8. Select Create Report for Download to request the report. 

  9. Select Download Reports Sub-tab.

  10. Click on Tab Delimited or Excel to Download the report in your desired format.

  11. Select to Open or Save the report.
