Yes, each HTML article includes a Lexile (reading measure) to provide you with an estimate of the result’s reading difficulty and the approximate grade-level reading ability required for comprehension. A Lexile limiter is also be available on the result list so that you may further narrow your search results. Note: Not all databases that can be used with Explora include Lexiles, and Lexiles are not available on PDF articles.
If the Lexile Range limiter is not appearing on the Explora search results page, you will need to log in to your EBSCOadmin account and follow these steps:
- From the Choose Profile drop-down list, select the appropriate Explora profile (Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Public Libraries, or Canada).
- Click the Viewing Results tab and select the "Yes" radio button beside Show Clustered Results (under General Settings).
- Click the Modify link beside Select and Order Clusters for display. For Lexile Range, make sure the box in the Show column is checked.
- Click Submit to save your changes.
