In EBSCOadmin, how do I enable Language Translation?

Many EBSCO interfaces (EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, etc.) provide the option to translate the HTML full text of articles into one of several languages other than English. To see a full list of available languages, see the linked FAQ at the bottom of this page. To enable the Language Translation feature, the "Language Translation for Full Text" setting must be turned on in EBSCOadmin.

To enable language translation in EBSCOadmin:

  1. Log in to EBSCOadmin at

  2. Click the Customize Services Tab. Select the appropriate Group and Profile from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click the Multilingual Options Sub-Tab.

  4. Turn on the radio button next to Language Translation for Full Text.

  5. Click Submit. Your changes are saved.
