How do I run Link Activity reports in EBSCOadmin?

EBSCOadmin allows administrators to run Link Activity reports that show linking in and out of EBSCO interfaces.

To locate Link Activity Reports:

  1. Click Reports & Statistics in the tool bar at the top of the screen.

  2. Click Standard Reports under EBSCOhost/EDS, then click the Link Activity Reports Sub-Tab.

  3.  Select Option: Select whether to run a report for link activity by Source, Type, Target Type and Target.

  4. Target Type: Where the Target Type field appears, select all targets or by target type.

  5. Platform: Select either all platforms or a specific platform.

  6. Consortium Site: Select to run the report for all sites or an individual site.

  7. Time Period: In the "from" and "through" drop-down lists, select a time period for the report.

  8. Include: Where the include field appears, select all sites or only sites with statistics greater than zero.

  9. Lines Per Page: Enter the number of lines per each page of the report.

  10. Format: Select an output format: HTML, comma delimited, or tab delimited.

You can view the report on-screen.

  1. Click Show Report.

  2. When you have finished viewing the report, click Close.

You can e-mail the report in a variety of formats.

  1. Click E-mail Report. Enter your e-mail address and a report description in the text boxes.

  2. Select an output format: HTML, comma delimited, or tab delimited. Click Submit. A confirmation message is displayed.

You can schedule the report to be run another time.

  1. Click Schedule Report.

  2. Make your selections on this screen, and click Submit. A confirmation message is displayed.

You can save the report to a file.

  1. Click Save Report.

  2. A dialog box appears. You can save the report to your hard drive, or open on your desktop and save as an HTML file.
