Configuring Discipline Limited Searching

Discipline Limited Searching enhances a subject profile by providing relevant discipline limiters. Alternatively, it can be set up instead of subject profiles to allow your users to narrow searches to subject-like disciplines, improving the precision of searches.

All of the nearly 70 disciplines, determined by EBSCO, have obvious boundaries and a large number of publications available, providing a simple method to quickly focus searches.

This page demonstrates how to use EBSCOadmin to enable and configure Discipline Limited Searching for EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) profile(s).
