How do I enable Personal Account authentication for DynaMed Plus users?

Personal Accounts allow DynaMed Plus users to create their own user ID and password combination from within the DynaMed Plus interface. When a user creates their own authentication values, they can be used to log into DynaMed Plus from anywhere without having to use your institution's authentication method.

Administrators who would like to make Personal Accounts available for DynaMed Plus can enable this authentication option in EBSCOadmin on the Personal Users authentication sub-tab.

To enable Personal Accounts for DynaMed Plus users:

  1. Log into EBSCOadmin at http://eadmin.ebscohost.com/.

  2. Select the Authentication tab, then select the Personal Users sub-tab.

  3. Enable Personal User Authentication – Set to Yes to enable Personal User Authentication for your users.

  4. Click Submit.
